Two farmers' sons from Devon.

We grew up on farms in Devon. Kitchen tables where the milk cheque set the mood, school holidays measured in silage cuts, and a first job that was never really a first job because you'd already been doing it your whole life. We know what farming gives a family — and we've watched what the last couple of decades have taken from it.

Somewhere along the way, farming stopped being a community and became an industry that gets commented on. The knowledge scattered into a dozen WhatsApp groups. The story got handed to people who have never lambed anything. And the distance between the person who grows the food and the person who eats it grew into a gap you could drive a supermarket through.

So we built the place we wished existed: somewhere farmers can share their life — the photos, the family moments, the 3am parts — and prove, post by post, that farming is done with care, done sustainably, and done by people worth knowing. Not a press release about sustainable farming. The actual daily evidence of it, from the people doing it.

And for everyone who eats: this is where you finally get to see what really goes into your food. Because food doesn't taste better with a side of propaganda — from any direction. A steak bought direct from the farmer who raised it tastes exactly like what it is: someone's work, done properly. That's what we're here to provide. To our community, in the fullest sense of the word.
