Transplanting finished on the last paddy block today — three generations in the field by 6am, my father supervising from the bund with his tea like a foreman who has retired from everything except opinions. The drip blocks by contrast: quiet, even, and using half the water. Both pictures are Punjab in 2026.

Harvest kitchen dates for next spring are up — one long table at the edge of the wheat, three generations of family recipes, dusk light we take no credit for. Last spring we hosted guests from four countries and two of them cried at the lassi. Bookings open on our farm page.
