Calving countdown: 18 days to planned start. Springer mob drafted tonight, calving kits restocked, colostrum freezer inventoried (43 litres of gold-standard first-milking, labelled and dated). To every first-season worker reading this: the difference between a good calving and a nightmare is what you do in the fortnight BEFORE it starts. Ask me anything, genuinely.
